Dear Friends and Constituents of Ward 7 and the City of Springfield,
I want to stay in touch with all of you during this unusual and uncertain time. Now we know social distancing protocols will remain in place until at least May 4th, and I urge you to follow the protocols set in place as this is the most expedient way to contain this virus. - Social Distancing protocols remain in place until at least May 4th
- All schools will remain closed until at least May 4th
- All essential businesses (like grocery stores, banks, and pharmacies) will remain open
- Restaurants serving take-out and/or delivery will remain open, please remember to support your local businesses!
- The CARES Act has been passed which includes expanded unemployment benefits, small business support, and cash payments to individuals based on their income and other factors.
